Black Friday TV and Streaming Device Deals 2026: Fire Stick, Roku and What to Skip

Living room TV and streaming sticks ready for Black Friday shopping

Black Friday TV shopping used to mean staring at a wall of 55-inch sets and hoping the sticker price was real. This year the early action on Amazon.com is somewhere else: streaming sticks. Three of them showed clear strike-through discounts when I checked the product pages, and two of those are Fire TV Sticks sitting under $25. That’s the kind of deal that actually makes sense to buy before the main sale week.

TVs themselves? Mostly a different story so far. Several popular 55-inch models I looked at either had no list price on the PDP, were unavailable, or just sat at a flat number with nothing crossed out. I’ll cover those so you know what to skip for now.

If you’re still building your full Black Friday list, our Amazon Black Friday 2026 smart home deals guide walks through how to tell a real discount from a fake one. And if your living room already runs on Alexa, yesterday’s note on Echo, Ring and Blink deals pairs well with a new streaming stick.

The short version

All prices below were checked on Amazon.com product pages during a November 5, 2026 recheck of TV and streaming listings. These are prices at time of writing and may change, sometimes within the same day. Always glance at the current PDP before you buy.

  • Best value Fire Stick: Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select, $21.99 (about 56% off the $49.99 implied list via Amazon’s savings badge). Amazon’s Choice. Newest Fire TV experience for 2026.
  • Newest Fire Stick 4K: Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (newest model), $24.99 Limited time deal (list $59.99, about 58% off).
  • Best non-Amazon stick: Roku Streaming Stick HD with Voice Remote (model 3840R), $24.00 (list $39.99, about 40% off). Amazon’s Choice, #1 in Streaming Media Players when I checked.
  • TVs and premium streamers: wait. Several 55-inch sets and higher-end boxes showed no verified list-price discount on the PDP. Check current price, don’t treat a flat sticker as a Black Friday deal.

Fire TV Stick deals (the real story this week)

Amazon loves cutting its own hardware early, and streaming sticks are usually first. This round delivered. Two 4K Fire Sticks under $25 with clear savings badges is stronger than most early smart-home drops I’ve seen so far this season.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select: the one I’d buy for most people

At $21.99 against a $49.99 implied list, the Fire TV Stick 4K Select is the pick I’d hand to a parent, a dorm room, or anyone who just wants Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and Disney+ on a TV that doesn’t have a decent smart platform. Amazon’s Choice badge was on it when I checked, with about 19,065 ratings at 4.2 stars. It runs the newest Fire TV experience for 2026, which is the cleaner interface Amazon has been pushing this year.

Worth knowing before you buy: some reviews call out limited sideload and app compatibility compared with older Fire Sticks or Android-based boxes. If you live inside the mainstream streaming apps, that rarely matters. If you depend on obscure APKs or niche sports apps that aren’t in the Fire TV store, look elsewhere or confirm the app list first.

Who it’s for: secondary TVs, guest rooms, first-time streamers, and anyone who already uses Alexa and wants the stick to talk to the rest of the house.

Who should skip it: people who need heavy sideloading, or who already own a recent Fire Stick 4K and aren’t chasing the new interface.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (newest model): if you want the current flagship stick

This is the newest Fire TV Stick 4K model, ASIN B0G4XRP464, sitting at $24.99 as a limited time deal against a $59.99 list. That’s about 58% off. Three dollars more than the Select for the current 4K stick makes sense if you want the latest hardware Amazon is pushing, not the Select trim.

I wouldn’t overthink the gap between these two. Both are 4K sticks under $25 with verified discounts. Pick the Select if you want the cheapest working Fire Stick with a real savings badge. Pick this one if the product page features or remote feel better for your setup, or if you specifically want the newest Stick 4K SKU.

Who it’s for: people replacing an aging Fire Stick, or buying their first one and wanting the newest 4K model Amazon lists.

Either way, check the current price on the PDP. Limited time deals on Amazon hardware can bounce around day to day.

Roku Streaming Stick HD: the non-Amazon pick

Not everyone wants Fire TV. Some people prefer Roku’s simpler home screen, or they already have Roku accounts across a few TVs. The Roku Streaming Stick HD with Voice Remote (model 3840R) was $24.00 against a $39.99 list when I checked — about 40% off.

It’s HD, not 4K. That matters. If your TV is 4K and you care about native 4K streaming from Netflix or Disney+, this isn’t the stick. If the TV is older, or you’re outfitting a bedroom where 1080p is fine, it’s a strong price. Amazon’s Choice, 4.6 stars from around 26,000 ratings, 10,000+ bought in the past month, and it was sitting at #1 in Streaming Media Players. That volume usually means the listing is stable and returns are easy.

Who it’s for: Roku households, HD TVs, kids’ rooms, and anyone who finds Fire TV’s interface noisy.

Who should skip it: anyone buying for a 4K living-room set. Wait for a verified deal on a Roku 4K stick, or grab one of the Fire Stick 4K options above.

I did not have a verified discount on a Roku 4K Stick at the time of the recheck, so I’m not quoting one. Check current Roku 4K stick prices if that’s what you need.

What I would not call a deal yet

This section matters as much as the picks. A lot of search results look “on sale” until you open the product page and there’s no list price, no savings badge, and no crossed-out number.

  • Fire TV Stick 4K Max (B0BP9SNVH9): around $84.99 with no list price shown. Skip until a real discount appears.
  • Google TV Streamer 4K (B0D8WJYSF9): $149 with no “was” price. Nice device, not a deal.
  • Apple TV 4K (2022, B0BJMGB95J): unavailable when checked. Don’t plan around a listing that won’t ship.
  • Fire Stick HD, Fire TV Cube, Roku 4K Stick, Apple TV 2025: I did not verify discounts on these. Don’t trust a search tile — open the PDP.

Same rule for TVs. On the November 5 recheck:

  • Hisense 55E7SF — unavailable
  • TCL 55T7 — $399.99 with no list on the PDP
  • Westinghouse Roku 55″ — $369.99 with no list on the new listing
  • Hisense 55E6QF — $296.96 with no list on the PDP

A TV at $296 without a strike-through price might still be fine for your budget. It just isn’t something I’m willing to label a Black Friday deal. For TVs right now: check the current price on the product page, and wait for a list price or a savings badge before you treat it as a sale. Big panel discounts usually stack closer to Black Friday week itself.

Browse current 55-inch 4K smart TV prices if you’re window-shopping, but verify every listing.

Should you buy a stick now or wait?

For the three sticks with verified discounts, I’d buy now if you already need one. Amazon’s own Fire Sticks often hit these kinds of prices early and then bounce. A $22–$25 4K stick is already in the range people wait for during the main event. If it drops another few dollars next week, returns on Amazon hardware are usually painless.

For TVs, Apple TV, Google TV Streamer, and the Fire Stick 4K Max, I’d wait. None of those showed a clean, verified list-price cut on the pages I checked. Panel deals especially tend to get sharper closer to Black Friday week (November 27, 2026) and Cyber Monday (November 30).

One more tip: glance at price history with Keepa or camelcamelcamel before you click Buy. A stick that’s been “$24.99, was $59.99” for six weeks isn’t the same as one that just dropped today. The three picks above still look like honest cuts based on the list prices Amazon showed, but history never hurts.

If you’re chaining this into a broader smart-home refresh — thermostat, plugs, lighting — our roundup of Nest, Kasa and Philips Hue deals is worth a look while the early discounts are live.

FAQ

Is the Fire TV Stick 4K Select better than the newest Fire Stick 4K?

For most people the Select at $21.99 is enough. Both are 4K sticks with verified discounts. Choose the newest Stick 4K if you specifically want that SKU or prefer whatever features Amazon highlights on its product page; otherwise save the three dollars.

Do I need a Fire Stick if my TV already has smart apps?

Only if the built-in apps are slow, outdated, or missing services you use. A $22 stick can make a five-year-old “smart” TV feel usable again. If your TV’s apps are fine, skip it.

Fire Stick or Roku?

Fire Stick if you’re in the Alexa / Amazon ecosystem and want 4K under $25. Roku if you prefer Roku’s interface or already have Roku accounts — just know the deal above is HD, not 4K.

When should I buy a TV for Black Friday 2026?

Not yet, based on the listings I checked. Wait until the product page shows a real list price or savings badge. Black Friday is November 27; Cyber Monday is November 30. Panels often improve closer to those dates.

Will these streaming stick prices still be good on Black Friday?

Maybe. Amazon hardware prices move. That’s why every number here is labeled as the price at time of writing. Check the current PDP before you buy.

Can I use a Fire Stick without a Prime membership?

Yes. You need an Amazon account to set it up, but you don’t need Prime to install Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and most other apps. Prime Video is just one of many options on the home screen.
