Amazon’s own smart home brands are always the loudest part of Black Friday. Echo speakers, Ring doorbells and cameras, and Blink cameras get some of the deepest cuts of the year because Amazon wants them in as many homes as possible. The catch is that these deals come and go fast, and a “Limited time deal” badge doesn’t always mean the lowest price of the season. This guide covers which Echo, Ring and Blink devices are worth buying this Black Friday, who each one is for, what we saw on sale when we wrote this, and how to tell a real discount from a fake one.

If you’re planning your whole Black Friday list, start with our Amazon Black Friday 2026 smart home deals guide for dates and price-tracking tips.

The picks in detail

1. Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (2026 model): best overall deal

View on Amazon

This is the deal most people should look at first. At $39.99 for Prime members, it was 60% off its $99.99 typical price when we checked, and non-Prime shoppers could still get it for $44.99. It had a 4.2-star rating from more than 8,300 reviews.

Because it runs on a rechargeable battery, you don’t need existing doorbell wires, so it works for apartments, rentals and older homes. You get 2K video, motion alerts and two-way talk through the Ring app, and if you own an Echo Show you can see who’s at the door on the screen.

Who it’s for: anyone without a video doorbell yet, and renters who can’t run wires. Skip it if: you already have doorbell wiring and want the battery never to need charging. A wired Ring doorbell avoids that.

2. Ring Indoor Cam 2K: best cheap indoor camera

View on Amazon

At $24.99 (58% off a $59.99 typical price at time of writing), this is one of the cheapest ways to add a camera to your home. It’s a small plug-in camera with 2K video, and it had a 4.6-star rating from more than 4,300 reviews, the highest of the deals we found.

Who it’s for: checking on pets, watching a front hallway, or keeping an eye on a nursery. Buying two or three makes sense at this price. Skip it if: you want local storage with no subscription. Blink’s Sync Module setup is better for that.

3. Ring Outdoor Cam 2K (2026 model): best wire-free outdoor camera

View on Amazon

Half off at $49.99 (typical price $99.99 at time of writing), this battery camera mounts almost anywhere outside: a side gate, a back porch, or above a garage door. It had 4.4 stars from about 1,100 reviews.

Who it’s for: covering a spot with no outlet nearby. Skip it if: you want bright lights to scare off visitors at night. That’s what the floodlight cam is for.

4. Ring Floodlight Cam 2K (2026 model): best for driveways

View on Amazon

This hardwired camera pairs 2K video with motion-activated floodlights, which is the setup you want over a driveway or backyard. Amazon’s search results showed it at $99.99 with a $199.99 list price and a “Limited time deal” badge, but the product page itself didn’t show a strike-through price when we checked, so confirm the discount at checkout. It had 4.5 stars from about 520 reviews.

Who it’s for: homeowners with an existing outdoor light fixture to replace. Skip it if: you’re not comfortable with basic electrical work or you rent.

5. Echo speakers and displays: wait for the drop

Check current price

When we checked, the Echo lineup was at full price: Echo Dot, Echo Dot Max, Echo Show 5, Echo Spot, Echo Studio, Echo Show 11 and Echo Hub showed no discounts. Echo devices are usually among the biggest Black Friday markdowns, so we’d hold off on buying one at full price this close to the main sale.

If you’re torn between models, our best smart speaker guide compares the Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Google and Apple options. As a rule of thumb: an Echo Dot is enough for voice control and music in one room, while an Echo Show is worth it if you’ll use the screen to see your Ring doorbell and cameras.

6. Blink cameras: the budget alternative

Check current price

Blink is Amazon’s lower-cost camera brand. Its biggest advantage is that, with a Sync Module and a USB drive, you can save clips locally without a monthly plan. An early deal on the Blink Mini 2K+ and the Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+ ran around November 1 and had ended by the time we rechecked, with both back at regular prices. We expect Blink to return with discounts closer to Black Friday.

Who it’s for: people who want several cameras for the lowest cost and dislike subscriptions. Skip it if: you want the most polished app and the widest range of devices. Ring is ahead there.

Ring vs Blink: which should you buy?

Both are owned by Amazon and both work with Alexa, but they’re built for different buyers:

  • Ring has the bigger lineup (doorbells, floodlights, spotlights, alarm kits), a more feature-rich app, and better person and package alerts with a Ring Home subscription. Most useful features need that subscription.
  • Blink is cheaper, has long-lasting battery cameras, and can store clips locally with a Sync Module, so you can skip the subscription entirely if you accept fewer smart features.

Our advice: pick one brand and stay with it, so all your cameras live in one app. If you want a doorbell plus floodlights, go Ring. If you mostly want cheap cameras with no monthly fee, go Blink.

Don’t forget the subscription

A $25 Ring camera is only cheap if you’re fine with live view and alerts. To save and replay video clips, Ring needs a Ring Home plan, and pricing can change, so check Ring’s current plan prices before you buy several cameras. One plan generally covers every Ring device at one address, which makes buying more cameras during the sale better value. Blink also offers plans, but its local storage option is the main way to avoid one.

How to spot a real Echo, Ring or Blink discount

  • Check the model year. Amazon often discounts older models hardest. All four Ring deals above are the newest 2025 or 2026 versions, which is why we picked them.
  • Look at “Typical price” vs “List price.” “Typical price” is based on what the item usually sells for, so it’s a more honest baseline than list price.
  • Watch for Prime-only pricing. The Ring Battery Doorbell 2K was $5 cheaper for Prime members. If you aren’t a member, a free trial might cover it.
  • Compare against earlier lows. Use Amazon’s price history tools or browser extensions. If a “deal” matches the regular price from a month ago, it isn’t really a Black Friday deal.
  • Check the seller. Buy from “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com” to avoid gray-market or used units. Several Ring doorbells we checked earlier this week were only available used.

When will Echo, Ring and Blink deals be best?

Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is November 30. Amazon usually starts its Black Friday sale about a week earlier and adds new deals daily, so prices on Amazon devices can drop more than once. Deals on Amazon’s own hardware often stay through Cyber Monday, but popular colors and bundles can sell out. If a price above is good for you, there’s little reason to gamble on a lower one.

FAQ

Are Ring doorbells cheaper on Black Friday?

Usually yes. Ring doorbells are among Amazon’s most heavily discounted devices in November. When we checked on November 4, the 2026 Ring Battery Doorbell 2K was already $39.99 for Prime members against a $99.99 typical price.

Do I need a subscription for Ring or Blink?

Not to use them, but you’ll get much less. Without a plan, Ring gives you live view and motion alerts but no saved video. Blink can save clips locally with a Sync Module and USB drive, so it’s easier to use without a subscription.

Is it worth buying an Echo now or waiting?

Wait. When we checked, Echo speakers and displays were at full price, and Echo devices typically get sizable discounts during Amazon’s Black Friday event.

Can I see my Ring doorbell on an Echo Show?

Yes. Ring and Blink devices work with Alexa, so you can say “Alexa, show the front door” on an Echo Show or Fire TV to see a live feed.

Does a battery Ring doorbell work for renters?

Yes. Battery models like the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K don’t need existing wiring and can be mounted with screws or a no-drill mount, which makes them a good fit for apartments and rentals.

Are these prices guaranteed?

No. Every price in this article is the price at time of writing (November 4, 2026) and may change at any moment. Always confirm the final price on Amazon before you buy.
